Ishaan Khatter grabs award for ‘Beyond the Clouds’ appearance

Ishaan Khatter the Indian actor of Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’ has won an award in India.

The young actor won the Best Debut Actor (Male) at the 64th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards.

The event was hosted by renowned Indian actors Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkummar Rao and Vicky Kaushal.

The film which was filmed in India in 2017, revolves around the life of a young boy, Amir, and his sister, Tara, in Mumbai.

When on the run from the cops, Amir finds his estranged sister, who, in a bid to protect her brother, lands in jail. Their entire lives are clouded by despair when, unexpectedly, the light shines on them from beyond the clouds.

The film has gone on screen at some national and international cinematic events, including the 36th Fajr International Film Festival in Iran and the 3rd Slemani International Film Festival in Iraqi Kurdistan region.
